Hello! My name is Carlee Healey and I am so very excited to be teaching your child this year in 3rd grade! I am honored to begin my 4th year at Kittrell Elementary; a truly wonderful school that cares about the students. I am looking forward to a wonderful year together! I was born and raised in the Murfreesboro area. I attended Oakland High School and went on to attend Middle Tennessee State University as a first generation college student! I wanted to make the most of my time there and joined organizations such as Kappa Delta, National Society of Leadership and Success, and Golden Key Honors Society. I graduated Cum Laude in May of 2014.
I enjoy spending my time with my family (most importantly my daughter, Claire!), crafting, or reading a good book. My favorite moments are with those that mean the most to me (my students included!).
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to grow up and become a teacher, so that is exactly what I did! My favorite thing about being in the classroom is watching my students grow and seeing the class become a positive community of friends. Please never hesitate to contact me about anything! Open communication is very important to me.
